Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Scented Essentials. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your scented candle, (ie; it's damaged, broken or a wrong item is sent from our side) we offer a return policy to ensure your peace of mind. Please review the following guidelines for returns and refunds:


1. Eligibility for Returns:

To be eligible for a return, the scented candle must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. Returns must be initiated within 3 days of the delivery date.


2. Return Process:

To initiate a return, please take a picture and a video of the damaged products and contact our customer service team at our Instagram page or email and provide your order details along with the pictures. Our team will guide you through the return process and provide you with the necessary instructions.


3. Return Shipping:

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped or damaged product). We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of the item.


4. Damaged or Defective Items:

In the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective scented candle, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, by providing a replacement. 


5. Non-Refundable/Returnable/ Replaceable Items:

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or offer replacements on used candles or items that are not in their original condition.


6. Exchanges:

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a scented candle for a different scent or product, please follow the return process outlined above and place a new order for the desired item.


7. Return/Refund Status:

We strive to process returns and refunds as quickly as possible. Once your return is received, please allow 7 business days for us to inspect the item and initiate the replacement. The new replacement processing may take 2-3 business days to dispatch.
